How can I Track a PTT (Turkish Post) Parcel?
You can track a PTT parcel using the official tracking number assigned at the time of shipment. Enter the number into the PTT tracking system or use TrackTrace.Delivery to view unified tracking updates, international transit events, customs statuses, and handovers to local postal operators. The system supports PTT International parcels, EMS, registered mail, and PTT Kargo shipments.
You can also track your shipment through our universal tracker, which automatically recognizes PTT tracking numbers and provides unified tracking data. This allows you to see both PTT updates and the statuses from the destination-country carrier once the parcel is handed over for final delivery.
Can I Check if my Parcel has Arrived at the Post Office Using a Phone Number?
No, PTT does not provide parcel information based on a phone number. To check whether a shipment is ready for pickup or has arrived at a PTT branch, you must use the official tracking number. SMS notifications may be available for certain domestic services, but they are optional and cannot replace tracking by number.
What is the Format of PTT International Tracking Numbers?
PTT international shipments typically follow the UPU S10 format: two letters + nine digits + "TR" Examples include:
RR 000000000 TR (registered mail);
CP 000000000 TR (international parcels);
EE 000000000 TR (EMS).
This format ensures full compatibility with global postal tracking systems, allowing you to monitor your parcel even after it leaves Türkiye and is handed over to a destination-country operator.
What is a "Valuable Parcel" (insured parcel) in PTT?
A PTT "valuable parcel" is a service that protects the sender against loss or damage during transportation. When sending a valuable parcel, you can declare a specific value for your shipment, provided the stated amount does not exceed the actual value of the contents.
This service is available only for destinations that support insured parcel shipments. You can check the list of eligible countries and the maximum declared value allowed by each destination using the official PDF file.
How to file a claim for a valuable parcel
If an insured parcel is lost or arrives damaged, the sender must visit PTT to submit a compensation request. Claims are filed in person at the nearest PTT branch, where the shipment was originally posted or where the sender currently resides. You will be asked to provide:
The original shipment receipt;
The declared value form;
Proof of the item's value (invoice, purchase receipt, or appraisal);
Evidence of damage, if applicable.
PTT will review the case and coordinate with international postal partners when the parcel is shipped abroad. Compensation is paid in accordance with the declared value and the applicable international postal regulations.

International mail processing centers (IMPCs) are postal facilities that play a crucial role in inter-operator mail processing of PTT, as they either form or receive items, or serve as transit centers for mail exchanged between other IMPCs. Each PTT IMPC has a clearly defined physical location, is managed or under the responsibility of a postal service, and processes a specific set of mail flows both domestically and internationally. If you see the abbreviation "IMPC" in your parcel tracking and don't know where it is, you can search for the exact location in the list below.
